The Position

You are a Frontend Developer that is capable of delivering high quality code and creative designs to build SaaS products from zero. You are hungry to succeed and enjoy building things that bring business value.

You love to bridge the gap between design and code to bring ideas to life at the highest speed and are always learning the latest technologies and diving into the newest design trends.

• Responsible for building easy-to-use and interactive experiences in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for high quality code that serves the highest standards of maintainability and readability.
• An artistic eye to bring ideas into life through fast-paced prototyping iterations.
• Working with APIs and AI solutions that will be served from our backend systems.
• Deep compromise with code visibility and performance as well as with an ambitious testing coverage.
• Passion to go the extra mile together with the whole Hypertype team!
• Drive to bring new ideas and concepts to the table in our discussions.
• Collaborating with engineers and co-founders to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning and design to building, testing and deploying.

Qualification

• +2 years experience in Frontend Engineering with proficiency in React.js, Typescript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience building complex animations and responsive applications.
• Experience with User Interface and User Experience design.
• Experience with fast prototyping tools such as Lovable.
• Versatile Software Engineering Skills: A solid engineering background with a robust foundation in software engineering principles. You have written code for and supported production engineering systems.
• Experience building Chrome Extensions and packaging your Frontend applications to production.
• Experience building tests to automatically test the code.
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (GCP, AWS, ...)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Bonus points

• Experience working with Redux.
• Experience working with streams and asynchronous solutions.
• Experience with Go for high performing concurrent applications.
• Experience with Python and building APIs (we mostly use FastAPI).
